Editorial policy
Tigbuy Gear Sheets is an editorial desk. Our scoring, ranking and wording are set by the editors named on this site. Commission earned through retailer and agent links does not change a score, and no brand or agent has ever been shown a draft before publication.
We buy featured products ourselves through the same agent routes readers use, and we say so in each sheet. Where a maker sends a sample without being asked, the sheet states that it was supplied, and the product still goes through the full material check.
What we will and will not publish
- We publish measurements we took ourselves, with the instrument named.
- We publish delivery timing from our own order log, dated.
- We do not publish a claim about a material that we could not check on the bench.
- We do not accept payment for a place in a ranking, a score, or a description.
- We do not name private individuals, agent staff or customer-service workers in criticism.
Published sheets are dated at the top and carry the name of the editor who signed them off.
